The EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is set to go into effect in May 2018. As adopted by the European Commission in 2016, the intent of the GDPR is to strengthen and data protection for all individuals within the EU under a common legal regime. The GDPR addresses both personal control of information, and provides rules for the export of personal data outside the EU.

This webcast will be unique in focusing in on how a maturing information governance program will assist companies in coping with new standards and protocols in the GDPR touching on the areas of data retention, privacy, and cyberbreach.
