This presentation will provide a quick overview of the U.S., Mexican, and Canadian governments’ perspectives, objectives, and latest proposals on the major topics in the NAFTA renegotiation. Topics include:

 

·     Consensus Based Traditional Trade Issues

·     Regular Negotiations on Traditional Trade Issues

·     New Creative Proposals by the U.S. Government

 

We will also include the timeline of negotiations, perspectives of major businesses and other non-government organizations,  and relevant political realities.  Finally, we will suggest actions that you can take to provide input into the NAFTA update negotiations.
