Currency fluctuations are a never-ending concern for all global businesses, regardless of their size. In recent months, many have been focused on the rupee’s uncertainty and what it means for businesses that have made substantial investments in India. This session will discuss what legal protection against global currency fluctuation is available for businesses with Indian holdings. It will also address the currency control restrictions that exist in India, as well as how these restrictions impact investments and trade payments. Finally, panelists will explore differences in global interest rates and how they can create opportunities for foreign investors in the future.
