Social media has transformed how our clients do business and conduct their lives, and how we as lawyers perform our roles. Longstanding legal ethics rules impact how lawyers must navigate this terrain, such as in our use of social media for professional image and marketing, interacting with the social media of others in the legal system, how we advise clients, and how we protect ourselves from risk. This program will highlight key ethical areas that all attorneys should know as they engage with social media and represent and counsel clients who use social media.
